Workshop on Crafting

A four day workshop on crafting was organized for women of the coastal areas, so as to open up new livelihood opportunities. The workshop was led by Master craftsman J. Abraham Raman, under whom 40 women took classes. The training focused on handcrafts made out of seashells.
